ALAMEDA COUNTY

16 June  In Berkeley, a Northern Parula was in the trees above the street at 24 and 28 Plaza Dr.  Graham Chisholm

1 June  In the north section of Livermore, a male Blue-winged Teal and two Wilson's Snipe were found along Las Positas Creek as it flows under Springtown Blvd, just north of Rhododendron Dr [or Ct?]. This site can be accessed from Bluebell Dr & Buckskin Rd.  Kevin Hintsa


CONTRA COSTA COUNTY

27 June  Near Moraga, an adult male Rose-breasted Grosbeak was seen near the Valle Vista Staging Area of Upper San Leandro Reservoir. An EBMUD trail permit is required. From the parking lot, take the trail east and down into the forest. The bird was in the last couple of pines before you reach the bridge across Moraga Creek on the way to the stables.  Bob Power
