21 February In Oakland, the Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow continues to be seen at Arrowhead Marsh in Martin Luther King Jr Regional Shoreline at high tide, which was at noon. The bird was seen on a triangular island to the west of the boardwalk, near a piece of concrete on the righthand side of the island. Earlier, a Swamp Sparrow was seen at the end of the boardwalk. 23 February Just east of Martinez and Hwy 680, several Great-tailed Grackles were in the marsh beyond the railroad tracks, north of Waterfront Rd, at McNabney Marsh (northwest of Waterbird Regional Preserve). Jean Richmond
