31 August In Oakland at Arrowhead Marsh (in Martin Luther King Jr Regional Shoreline), 8 Clapper Rails were seen at an extreme low tide. In Alameda at a beach, 10 Red-necked Phalaropes were seen. In the Elsie Roemer Bird Sanctuary (southeast end of Crown Memorial State Beach), there were 3 White-faced Ibises. Bob Mendel
