ALAMEDA COUNTY

21 September  In Fremont at 6 PM, a Blackpoll Warbler was in conifers in front of the visitor center at Coyote Hills Regional Park.  John Luther

20 September  In Oakland this afternoon, 4 Clapper Rails and 1 Wilson's Snipe (formerly called Common Snipe) were at Arrowhead Marsh in Martin Luther King Jr Regional Shoreline.  Ken Archimbaud


CONTRA COSTA COUNTY

18 September  In the Berkeley Hills in Tilden Regional Park Nature Area, a Chestnut-sided Warbler was with a mixed flock that included Cassin's Vireo. The flock was seen near the Jewel Lake dam (north end of the lake), but moved north down Wildcat Canyon around 9:30 AMEmilie Strauss

4 September  In Richmond at Richmond Marina Bay, a Marbled Murrelet was 60 feet offshore, by the old wooden pier.  Eric Thornton
