5 March Near Clayton in Mount Diablo State Park, a Townsend's Solitaire was singing from a blue oak an hour before sunset. This was off Mitchell Canyon Trail along Black Point Trail, at the end of the fire road where the trail becomes a single-tread trail. Ken Archibald
