ALAMEDA COUNTY

15 January  In Oakland, an adult male Hermit Warbler was at Joaquin Miller Park. The bird was in the large pines between the one way loop of Sanborn Dr and the native plant nursery near Browning monument. This area is accessed from the ranger station.  Kevin Hintsa

3 January  In Oakland, the Cattle Egret was still at Lake Merritt. It was on the island nearest the nature center.  Dave Weber
