ALAMEDA COUNTY

22 May  In Fremont, 27 White-faced Ibis were in Coyote Hills Regional Park at the juncion of the main trail and the trail at Alameda Creek.  Mike Feighner

21 May  In Berkeley, the Costa's Hummingbird continued at the previously reported location on Berkeley Way.  Emilie Strauss

20 May  In Hayward, a Glossy Ibis was seen at Hayward Regional Shoreline with a flock of 26 White-faced Ibis. They flew to an area closed to the public - closest public access is from the trails near the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center.  Sheila Junge   (NOTE: Glossy Ibis is a California Bird Record Committee review species. 15 May  In Oakland, Clapper Rail and Burrowing Owl were at Arrowhead Marsh, Martin Luther King Jr Regional Shoreline.  Ken Orsonville

12 May  In Berkeley, the Costa's Hummingbird continued near the North Berkeley BART station, in the vicinity of 1620 Berkeley Way, just east of California St.  Emilie Strauss

7 May  In Oakland, Red Knots were at Arrowhead Marsh, Martin Luther King Jr Regional Shoreline.  Stephen Davies

6 May  On Mines Rd southeast of Livermore, a Phainopepla was at Murietta's Well and at MilePost 17.6. On Patterson Pass Rd, a Blue Grosbeak was at MP 6.2.  Hugh Harvey

4 May  In Castro Valley, a Northern Parula was at Cull Canyon Regional Recreation Area. It was seen from the footbridge over the creek near the main parking lot.  Kevin Hintsa

4 May  In Mount Diablo State Park, a Yellow-breasted Chat was in the willows upstream of Pine Pond in Pine Canyon.  George Finger
