ALAMEDA COUNTY

25 February  In Oakland, the Cattle Egret and 2 Greater White-fronted Goose continued at Lake Merritt. Luke Cole

24 February  In Oakland, the female Oldsquaw and 7 Barrow's Goldeneyes were just south of 7th St in the channel between Lake Merritt and the Oakland Estuary. The female Hooded Merganser was in the channel on the north side of 8th St. The Cattle Egret was still adjacent to the Rotary Nature Center, and the Greater White-fronted Goose was adjacent to Childrens Fairyland at Lake Merritt.
