EBbird is a mailing list (e-mail discussion group) devoted to birding in Contra Costa County and Alameda County in the East Bay (San Francisco Bay Area, California). Beginners are just as welcome as those who are chasing rarities. Messages with relevance to wider geographical areas should be posted to the appropriate mailing lists such as Calbird or BirdChat.
