Share your enthusiasm for bird life on a tranquil walk through various Bay Area parklands! All levels of birding experience welcome. Bring water, sunscreen, sturdy walking shoes, binoculars or scopes, and a snack.

Directions: From Hwy 80, take the University Ave. exit in Berkeley. Follow University towards the hills, turn left onto Oxford St. Turn right onto Rose St. Turn left onto Spruce St. Follow Spruce up the hill, you will reach a stop sign at the top of the hill, proceed through the intersection and turn immediately left down Canon Dr. At the bottom of Canon, veer left onto Central Park Drive and follow into the parking lot.
***SPECIAL NOTE: We will have a ceremonial potluck breakfast after our walk in honor of several diligent volunteers who have completed a revised bird checklist for Tilden and Wildcat Canyon Regional Parks. Please bring a small food item to share, and your own plate and eating utensils.
