| Description: | Continuing a tradition started by Bruce Bajema... Join David on one or all of the regular Thursday morning birding walks at the storage ponds. The returning waterbirds reach maximum numbers in November. Come and see the many species of ducks including pintails, widgeons, shovelers and cinnamon teal. Directions: Meet at the Las Gallinas Storage Ponds’ parking lot. From Hwy 101 in northern San Rafael, take the Smith Ranch Road exit, bo east to the McInnis Park entrance, turn left immediately after crossing the railroad tracks, and go to the end of the road.
