| Description: | Share your enthusiasm for bird life on a tranquil walk through various Bay Area parklands! All levels of birding experience welcome. Bring water, sunscreen, sturdy walking shoes, binoculars or scopes, and a snack.

Directions: From Highway 24 take the Orinda/Camino Pablo/Moraga Way exit on the east side of the Caldecott Tunnel and head north toward Richmond. Continue north on Camino Pablo about 2.5 miles to Bear Creek Rd. (At this point Camino Pablo turns into San Pablo Dam Rd.) Turn right on Bear Creek Rd. and travel about 5 miles to Briones Bear Creek Staging Area on the right. Note: This is not the EBMUD “Bear Creek Staging Area” on the left side of Bear Creek Rd. |
