This is the week of World Wetlands Day, and we’ll celebrate wetlands by observing the birds that converge on this special place during the winter. We’ll watch shorebirds follow the dropping tide to feast in the newly exposed mud, and scan the open water for ducks and other waterfowl. Meet at Bolinas Lagoon Preserve, Bob Stewart Trailhead, just east of the nursery (on Olema Bolinas Road). |
