Who to Express Your Feelings to:
These addresses contain contact information for everyone you can write. Street addresses,
phone numbers and fax numbers are all listed here. EMail addresses are
not listed because they are a poor way to get your message across to local decision makers.

Tips for Good Letter Writing:
Here are the highlights of a good advocacy letter:
State clearly but courteously if you support or oppose the Sustainable Community Alternative for the
Concord Naval Weapons Station that is proposed by Mount Diablo Audubon Society.
State how a large park or open spaces will impact your life, as compared with new housing development on these public lands.
Make the letter your own. Although example letters are contained in the next section, YOUR letter will get more attention than something that looks like a form letter.
Ask for a reply, so include your full name, address, and phone number.
If you don't get a reply within two weeks, persistently write again.
